This is an excellent introduction to behavioural psychology, in the context of transformation, change and communication. Having seen previous initiatives fail to achieve the desired outcome, this course offered a step change in my thinking and approach.
Well structured, concise and easily understandable, Behaves Academy offers a systematic toolkit of techniques, with brilliantly simple illustrations of how to apply the theory in real situations. I am already seeing benefits in personal interactions and will be using for my broader communication strategy in 2025.

I had the pleasure of completing the BEHAVES Academy. It was a great merger of behavioural science being presented in an easy-to-understand manner alongside the actual use of behavioural science to support the learner's development of the skills. Valuable opportunities to link the insights with practical, real-life scenarios and practice using them in example scenarios.
I would recommend any learning designers complete the course and enhance their skills in changing behaviour!
I have been searching for a training course like BEHAVES for a while, ever since I read the book about nudging. I have an interest in behavioural science because it applies to what I do, but I don't have time to do another degree. I wanted something affordable, practical and short. I'm very happy I found BEHAVES! I enjoyed the course very much. The framework is great - I think it's very logical - and the handbook is wonderful too. If you release any additional modules in the future, I will take them.
I think it was really interesting to learn about behavioural psychology and how it all works and realising that I use a lot of the techniques in my work already. But having the background knowledge will help me to implement them more systematically or really think , ‘OK, which one am I going to use here?’ and then obviously see areas where I can use other techniques that I'm not using yet or use techniques in a different way or in a different area.
I think BEHAVES could be really impactful for when organisations are going through change…it allows you to be considered and more intentional on how you're approaching and communicating messages and how your messages can be received by the public or employees. BEHAVES provides a toolkit to reflect and a sense of confidence in what you're saying because it's been grounded in science.
