This is an excellent introduction to behavioural psychology, in the context of transformation, change and communication. Having seen previous initiatives fail to achieve the desired outcome, this course offered a step change in my thinking and approach.

Well structured, concise and easily understandable, Behaves Academy offers a systematic toolkit of techniques, with brilliantly simple illustrations of how to apply the theory in real situations. I am already seeing benefits in personal interactions and will be using for my broader communication strategy in 2025.

It was a great merger of behavioural science being presented in an easy-to-understand manner alongside the actual use of behavioural science to support the learner's development of the skills. Valuable opportunities to link the insights with practical, real-life scenarios and practice using them in example scenarios.

I would recommend any learning designers complete the course and enhance their skills in changing behaviour!

I have been searching for a training course like BEHAVES for a while, ever since I read the book about nudging. I have an interest in behavioural science because it applies to what I do, but I don't have time to do another degree. I wanted something affordable, practical and short. I'm very happy I found BEHAVES! I enjoyed the course very much. The framework is great - I think it's very logical - and the handbook is wonderful too. If you release any additional modules in the future, I will take them.

I think it was really interesting to learn about behavioural psychology and how it all works and realising that I use a lot of the techniques in my work already. But having the background knowledge will help me to implement them more systematically or really think , ‘OK, which one am I going to use here?’ and then obviously see areas where I can use other techniques that I'm not using yet or use techniques in a different way or in a different area.

I really enjoyed the BEHAVES academy. It was easy and fun to use, and I remember thinking 'this is really good - I'm going to take this away with me and use it in practice'. I have recommended it to my team members because I enjoyed it so much! I think the course would be useful for anyone in L&D or HR - or anyone that manages change, really. If you are interested in psychology and trying to decide whether to try BEHAVES, I think you would enjoy it.

I think BEHAVES could be really impactful for when organisations are going through change…it allows you to be considered and more intentional on how you're approaching and communicating messages and how your messages can be received by the public or employees. BEHAVES provides a toolkit to reflect and a sense of confidence in what you're saying because it's been grounded in science.

I think the framing has been really useful for me. And even in just the way that I communicate internally with people - it's just helpful to ask myself what I'm actually trying to get out of this interaction or this question... and make it more sort of concise and precise as a result.

The Literal Humans team took to the BEHAVES Framework like white on rice. We were able to seamlessly integrate the modules into our professional learning as well as blend regular discussions of our findings into our daily team standups. The e-learning setup is super intuitive and didn't feel burdensome at all for our very busy team.

Our team benefited greatly as we can now say we're all trained in behavioral science (which clients LOVE) and we're now implementing our learnings into the strategies we develop and execute with clients. We definitely foresee a future in which we're working closely with SBC to deepen our practice with their framework.

I just loved how interactive it is - I'm that person who struggles with sitting down and feeling like I have to study and just go through pages and pages of info or long boring videos. So, just being interactive was so nice with the quizzes - all that really helped things stick... I was looking forward to actually more of that.

I found the BEHAVES Academy quite relevant to the kind of stuff I do. Seeing another real-world application of the same kind of persuasive techniques that I'm often trying to implement was pretty interesting. And the interactive aspect of it double checks that you're tuned in and thinking it through.

Thanks to the framework, I've got a reference point now - so if I am trying to build out a practical application for this in the future, I've got these 14 insights to compare something to or, or to review something through. So yes, I've got a nice lens that I can apply to behavioural psychology applications now. It's been pretty helpful for me.

It put names to things that I already nebulously knew, but it was nice to see it pinned down, defined and given like a specific shape - that was interesting.

BEHAVES is a really easy to digest course that helps simplify behavioural science in a practical way. It is excellent both for an individual wanting to understand more and get a usable introduction to behavioural science but also has great value for any business navigating a period of change - giving a team a sold framework to work within and a common language to discuss issues is hugely beneficial.

I really enjoyed this course. The visuals were captivating and kept the learning experience engaging. More importantly, it struck a good balance between language and content, allowing me to focus on understanding the material without getting bogged down by interpretation. Overall, it switched back on my hunger for behavioural science!

The graphics/ animation and voice overs are very good, and the examples are excellent. The more quirky stuff really sticks and you feel like you are a master!

I found the visuals very crisp, clear and well-organised. The examples were great, especially - in module 1 of anchoring, the Tesco text and reciprocity and in module 2 the examples of each category - feelings, incentives, messages, etc. It is very thought-provoking and practical, and it became more so as I progressed through the modules. It is simple, well-organised and makes the science very accessible.
